What is the North Star Girls Group at Camp Program?
It is an easy-to-use group curriculum designed for groups (8-10 members) of girls who are
attending a camp program. The North Star Girls Group at Camp Program was written specifically
to be used at camps, incorporating camp activities, the camp environment, and the camp community.
The curriculum addresses issues that all adolescent girls face including relationships, teasing,
identity questions, body image, thoughts about the future, etc. The idea behind the North Star
Program is to give girls a structured and supportive place to talk and share with each other.
Official Debut
I am pleased to announce the upcoming debut of the North Star Girls
Group at Camp Program. This will include new Program Manuals
for the facilitators as well as North Star Journals for the girls.
There will also be facilitator trainings available. I am currently in the last stages of writing
this new version and it will be available for purchase on March 15, 2007. Please check back on
